Some time ago we wrote that Xiaomi had joined the WPC consortium, whose goal is to develop wireless charging technology in accordance with the Qi standard. For us it was a hint that the closest Mi7 flagship will be equipped with this feature. It seems that it will be so. Chinese sources posted information according to which Xiaomi began the test production of the necessary components for the implementation of wireless charging technology with plans for full loading near the end of the celebration of the Chinese New Year in February. It is reported that the Chinese manufacturer invested in the same company as Apple, so there should be no problems with supplies. This also means that the Mi7 will be made in a glass case, and its release will take place in March-April next year.
