The bend was different: its radius was 5.92 mm, which, according to the manufacturer, made the smartphone much more convenient. The diagonal of the screen changed insignificantly: 5.46 “in novelty vs. 5.43” in Xplay5. Vivo has paid great attention to the functionality of curved screen parts: they can be used not only for displaying shortcuts, but also for displaying time in standby mode (for example, on the phone next to you when you are sleeping). It is impossible not to note the strips in the style of the iPhone 7 on the back and the previous color scheme: only golden and pink versions with a white display frame.
The next Vivo Xplay6 chip is a dual camera. Let’s start with the main module. It is based on the Sony IMX362 sensor, previously never mentioned in the characteristics of smartphones. Apparently, it is similar to the one used in the Samsung Galaxy S7. At least, the cameras have the same characteristics: it’s a 12-megapixel Dual Pixel camera with a phase autofocus and the widest diaphragm on the market (f / 1.7).

There is a four-axis optical stabilization based on proprietary motion tracking technology. An additional 5-megapixel camera is used for background blur and postfocusing, that is, Vivo has gone the simplest way (similar schemes are used in HTC One (M8), Xiaomi Redmi Pro and DEXP Ixion Zenith). The 16-megapixel front camera is equipped with a flash. The software can determine the gender of a person photographing himself.
For performance in Vivo Xplay6, the chipset Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 meets the maximum speed of fast 2.15 GHz cores. The amount of RAM is 6 GB, the module LPDDR4 is used. The amount of built-in memory UFS2.0 is 128 GB.
The capacity of the battery is 4080 mAh. In order to speed up its charging, Vivo installed in Xplay6 immediately two charging modules.
This allowed to reduce the voltage of the charger and reduce the heating of the device when connected to the mains. The design of the antennas allowed to improve the reception of cellular networks, Wi-Fi and the signal of navigation satellites, which received the names of Signal +, Wi-Fi + and GPS +, respectively. From the software chips Vivo notes the mode of reducing the blue glow, the possibility of splitting the screen between applications and the organization of parallel working environments.
Traditionally, Vivo spoiled and fans of high-quality sound. The company was the first to install the ESS Saber ES9038 audio chip into the smartphone. It is complemented by three amplifiers OPA1622. The bunch provides a Hi-Fi sound with a dynamic range of 129 dB and a signal-to-noise ratio of 120 dB. Vivo Xplay6 is based on the operating system Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow, hidden in the proprietary shell of Funtouch OS. The fingerprint reader is located on the front panel. Price Xplay6 is 4,498 yuan (244899 in Naira), smartphone sales will began on December 6 of this Year.
