OnePlus this week rolled out an update to Android 8.0 Oreo for OnePlus 5, thus surpassing the previously designated dates. The same happened with the other flagship OnePlus 5T. Recall, the Chinese company promised to start beta testing early next year, but today the German account in social networks has pleased news about the launch of beta testing. The company filed this news as a Christmas present, but nothing is reported about access conditions (obviously, these data will be available the other day). By the way, today also released an update for commercial firmware OnePlus 5T, which fixes known bugs and errors. The final release of Android Oreo with Oxygen OS 5.0 for OnePlus 5T will take place in the first quarter of 2018.
