OnePlus 5 recently received a stable version of Android Oreo, and the company promised in one of the next firmware to add the face recognition feature from OnePlus 5T (the decision was made under the pressure of fans, annoyed by the decision not to add it to the flagship of the first half of the year). Subscribers of the Oreo beta beta program for OnePlus 5 can already use this feature. The required firmware is Open Beta 3, which can be downloaded from this link (size – 1.58 GB).
In addition to the new device unlocking feature, the changer includes the December security patch Android, fix bugs, including problems with a 5G Wi-Fi connection, optimize vibration feedback and other improvements. When the release of the final version takes place, depends on the response of users of the beta program.
