Few days ago Huawei officially introduced the flagship chipset Kirin 970, where the main bet is made on a dedicated neural processor module (NPU), designed to significantly improve performance through AI and cloud computing.
It became known when the premiere of the first commercial product on this chip will take place. Expected, they will become the Mate 10, and the corresponding press conference will be held October 16 in Munich, Germany. “Open your true potential with Huawei Mate 10,” the Chinese company said in a social network message. In addition to the new chip, Mate 10 and Mate 10 Pro should get a new design with narrow frames, a new generation of fast charging and a dual camera.
Correspondence was confirmed by the Australian branch of Huawei in late August (poster below). Note, the Mate series usually bypasses the market. If this happens, this time too, then try out a new opportunity Kirin 970 will be available only next year in P11. We look forward to hearing about this from Huawei.
