HTC is one of Google’s key partners. The companies cooperate so closely that even information appeared about the imminent merger, but so far there is no information on this. Meanwhile, a well-known source of leakage on HTC @LlabTooFeR reported on a new project of the Taiwanese company. This is a special version of the yet unannounced U11 Life (Ocean Life project), which will take place on the Android One program (an inexpensive analog of Nexus).
It is reported that the device “out of the box” will get Android 8.0 Oreo and will lose most branded applications HTC, but not Zoe, HTC Camera, Edge Sense and USonic. Information about the existence of the device confirmed and Evan Blass (Evan Blass), as well as shared a new device (the standard version with Sense UI 9 is depicted). Unfortunately, the date of the announcement and other details are not yet known. Earlier, the device was credited with a 5.2 “Full HD display, Snapdragon 630 chipset, 16-megapixel main and 16-megapixel front camera, 32GB internal storage.
