I shared with you how to stop getting unsolicited SMS ads from MTN Nigeria Few minutes back and Now I will be guiding you on how to do the same on the Etisalat Network.
It is really irritating when you get that disturbing unsolicited SMS on your phone. And lots of Folks out there has been complaining on how to put a STOP to all this annoying messages. Thankfully, there’s now a way to stop receiving these messages and opt out of those unwanted Mobile adverts too.
Thanks to the NCC for mandating every network provider to provide a means through which subscribers can opt out of any service provided. and now MTN Nigeria has complied with the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) to provide an opt-out code to stop you from such unwanted text messages and has made available a means for subscribers to opt out.
Imagine you have up to 90 Unread messages from Etisalat. But now it is something of history.

» To opt out of this service, simply send ‘STOP’ (without quotes) to 224
» You should get a message telling you that you have successfully opted out of their advertising service
