Going to the kitchen, toilet or pool with your smartphone it’s dangerous!. You can mistakenly drop the smartphone in the sink at the toilet, a bowl of water in the Kitchen, or out of turn fall into the pool. Was your phone dropped in the bathroom accidentally or slobbered on by the Pussy? Did you jumped into a pool with your phone, leave it in the rain, or accidentally throw it in the wash?
If any of this happen, don’t panic. All you have to do is acting very fast to save your smartphone from becoming water damaged. Here are simple steps to fix a phone dropped in water.
This post is intended to raise awareness on what to do (and not to do) immediately after a device (Smartphones, Smartwatches or any activity tracker) has mistakenly fallen in water or liquid.
Water-resistant vs. Water-proof

So soaking the phone in pool or water beyond the specified limits can potentially make you face even more serious troubles with your Device.
Just to be on the safe side, no Android smartphone today is deemed water-proof so think twice before jumping into that pool with your phone. A little word would be enough for the wise.
6 What not to do if your phone is wet
1. Do not switch it on, press any buttons or keys (unless the immediate switch off of the phone)
2. Do not shake, tap or bang the Device
3. Do not dismantle the phone. It can create a further problem if not properly handle.
4. Do not blow on it. This can send water into other internal parts of your device that hadn’t been reached. Causing, even more, damage to the device in the process
5. Do not heat it up (means no hair dryers, ovens, microwaves or extended periods in direct sunlight.)
6. Do not cool it down (that includes sticking it in the freezer)
Things to do when you have a Android phone Wet
» Switch off your device immediately if, it isn’t already.
» Remove any protective casing and, if your phone has them.
» Remove the Sim card, SD card, and anything else that might be plugged into the device. If you can (note that this won’t be possible with all phone models).

» Use an absorbent cloth, wool or paper towel to dab your phone dry.(NOTE: Avoid spreading the liquid around).
» If the water damage is more extensive, you can use a vacuum to suck carefully out water stuck from the cracks that are harder to get at. Make sure any small parts, such as the microSD card, SIM card, or battery, are out of the way before attempting this.
» Bury the phone in a bag or bowl full of uncooked rice. Rice is great for absorbing liquid, and this is a common method for drying smartphones and tablets.
» Leave your phone in the bag or bowl of uncooked rice for a two or three days. Do not be try to switch it on.
» After the allotted period of days, you can remove the phone from the rice, insert the battery, SIMs, SD Cards into the phone and switch the phone on.
» If your phone has turned on and it is running as it should. Keep a close eye on it for the next few days, to see if you notice anything out of the ordinary. Play some music to check the speakers and ensure the touch screen still responds as it should.
» If it isn’t working, try charging your phone. If still not change your battery because it may be damaged. Still not working, take it to professionals.

Avoid taking the phone with you when you do dishes in your kitchen, use the bathroom or using the pool.
One final surprising note: If your phone gets soaked in salt water, you should probably flush the whole thing in another fresh water before it dries. When salt water evaporates, it leaves crystals that can damage a phone’s fragile components on the panel board. Just be sure to remove the battery before flooding the device.
