Apple released a new beta version of iOS 11.2, one of the innovations of which was the increase in the speed of wireless charging to 7.5W (it was 5W). This information was confirmed by the manufacturers of the corresponding equipment RAVpower and Belkin. According to the source, with the new software iPhone will be charged from 46 to 66%, whereas without the appropriate support – only up to 60%. Note that the Qi standard supports up to 15W in some smartphones, but for Apple this is the first experience in this area and, judging by everything, the turns will be increased.
