Alcatel introduced a new line of smartphones at CES 2018. From now on, it is divided into three series, having numbers 1, 3 and 5. The number 5 denotes the most advanced devices, 3 is reserved for simpler models, 1 for the most budgetary ones.
The first models from the new assortment range are Alcatel 1X, Alcatel 3V and Alcatel 5. All the presented novelties support the unlocking of the face with the front camera (except, perhaps, Alcatel 3V) and have screens with an aspect ratio of 18: 9. Unfortunately, the detailed specifications are not known, they will be announced at MWC 2018.

The CES of Las Vegas has finally started, and we have seen everything this year’s brands presented. However, Alcatel has been encouraged to present all its new devices that will also be available soon in the world market. Information about the specs and Price will only be announced at the end of February or the beginning of March when the MWC (Mobile World Congress) is held in Barcelona. It’s possible most desired phones of 2018 will show up at this World Event.

This terminal is the high end of the company. Betting on the most premium design that they have done on a smartphone. It has a Qualcomm processor, a 3300 mAh battery and an 18: 9 design. We see their frames reduced compared to the previous generation. Apart, we see other developments such as its facial recognition technology.
This terminal will also offer a screen 18: 9, with a premium design, but with less reduced frames than the Alcatel 5. Account, this time, with two cameras to get the famous portrait mode that is so fashionable right now.
Last, but not least, we find the most affordable terminal of the brand, which has a screen 18: 9, but with some normal frames. We also see that it has some high-end features such as facial recognition or photographic experience.
Price and availability
We still do not know more about these new Alcatel terminals, neither their launch date nor their final price, but they promise to reveal more details to us at the MWC in Barcelona.
